Greetings Adventurers,

Here are the latest update details for Black Desert Online on March 6, 2025 (Thu). Today’s patch contains 114 updates and is approximately 1.44GB.

Contents

• A total of 3 NPCs are prepared to board your ship as first mate.

• Once a first mate comes aboard your ship, the following effects will be applied, greatly improving your sailing adventures.
  
  • While navigating your vessel, you'll be able to confirm your location and auto-navigate in the Great Ocean.
• The first mate can only be assigned to the "First Mate" preset slot for the following vessels.
  
  • Epheria Carrack: Advance
  • Epheria Carrack: Balance
  • Epheria Carrack: Volante
  • Epheria Carrack: Valor
  • Panokseon

• You can hire each of the three unique first mates via the following methods:

• Changed the Manage Sailors UI.
  
  • With the newly revamped interface, you can assign sailors to each slot.
  • Only the four carrack types and the Panokseon can assign sailors to slots other than the ship's cabin.

• Effects for Each Slot

• All slots, except for the cabin, can accommodate one placement by default. However, additional slots are available for specific ships as follows:

* With the Sailor Preset update, all sailors were disembarked during the Mar 6 (Thu) maintenance.

• 'Changed some information displayed in the Ship Info UI.

• Added grade-specific name frames to the UI in the Arena of Solare.
  
  • These name frames will be applied in all Arena of Solare matches and will be maintained until the next season ends.

• Once the Arena of Solare season ends, you'll receive one of the following based on the rank emblem you've earned.
  
  • Upon obtaining this item, you can unlock titles for each emblem.
  • Emblem titles can be used until the end of the next Arena of Solare Regular Season.

* Upon opening the Choose Your Immortal Perfume Box, you can choose one of the following items:

- Immortal: Elixir of Deep Sea, Immortal: Perfume of Charm, Immortal: Perfume of Courage, Immortal: Khalk's Elixir, Immortal: Perfume of Insight

• The Arena of Solare's regular season has ended, and rewards have been handed out based on the Solare emblem.

* Upon opening the Choose Your Immortal Perfume Box, you can choose one of the following items:

- Immortal: Elixir of Deep Sea, Immortal: Perfume of Charm, Immortal: Perfume of Courage, Immortal: Khalk's Elixir, Immortal: Perfume of Insight

* Arena of Solare Titles

Item

• Changed the system so that you can't use the same gear to restore max durability on red grade or higher equipment anymore.
  
  • Even if you've upgraded an item to red grade, you won't be able to use the same red gear to restore its max durability.

• Changed the Central Market minimum price of the following items.
  
  • Primordial Crystal, Primordial Black Stone

Monster

• The Golden Pig Cave, open for subjugation anytime, has appeared.
  
  • To enter the new Golden Pig Cave, chat with NPC Munsik and hand over Primordial Crystal x1.
  • This cave is different from the Fortunate Golden Pig Cave where you can find "Rare Treasures."
  • You cannot obtain the Golden Pigs Subjugation Token in the Golden Pig Cave.
  • If you die in the Golden Pig Cave, you'll face the same penalties as in regular monster zones.
  • Monsters here are affected by harmful effects as usual.
  • Recommended Stats:
    
    • 1,130+ AP, 670+ Damage Reduction (based on Total Stats)
    • 340+ AP, 438+ DP (based on Displayed Stats)

• Renamed the old Golden Pig Cave to the Fortunate Golden Pig Cave.
  
  • Added the [Treasure Keeper] title to the monsters in the Fortunate Golden Pig Cave.
  • Renamed the Golden Pig King Summon Scroll from the Fortunate Cave to the "Fortunate Golden Pig King Summon Scroll."
  • Renamed the Golden Pig King's Treasure Chest to the "Fortunate Golden Pig King's Treasure Chest."
  • Added special Golden Pigs to appear at a very low chance in the Fortunate Golden Pig Cave.
  • Special Golden Pigs are a bonus stage and disappear with a burst of gold coins when hit.
  • Changed the Golden Pig King's Treasure Chest to not appear in the Monster Zone Info of the Fortunate Golden Pig Cave.

• Applied the following to the Golden Pig Cave and Fortunate Golden Pig Cave monster zones.
  
  • Increased the distance at which the Elite Golden Pig and Raider Golden Pig detect enemies by 10%.
    
    • Changed the start location in the Golden Pig Cave after talking to Munsik due to the above.
  • Changed the Elite Golden Pig to perform a chopping attack after using a normal attack.

Quest & Knowledge

• Changed the cutscene for the [Balenos] Forest Wolves quest as below.
  
  • Increased the Gray Wolf's HP by 2.5 times.
  • Adjusted the time spent in combat when encountering the Gray Wolf.
    

• Improved the system so that if any of the following Recurring quests are in progress or complete, it will not be displayed in the Recurring Quest tab of Quests (O).
  
  • [Daily] A Treasure Swimming in the Ocean: Hekaru
  • [Daily] A Treasure Swimming in the Ocean: Ocean Stalker
  • [Daily] Wanted: Hekaru
  • [Daily] Wanted: Ocean Stalker

• Improved the system so that when the crossroads quest during the [King's Key] questline for the Nova class is completed, the other crossroad quests do not appear in the Recommend Quest (O) list.

UI

• Changed the icons of the following yellow grade artifacts to be more intuitive:
  
  • Kehelle's Artifact - Changed the icons of all yellow grade artifacts except Max Stamina.

• Changed to save the last selected grade of the fish set for Auto Discard during Fishing.

Modified or Changed

• Fixed the issue where the time limited titles obtainable based on the number of enemy kills in Node/Conquest War were continuously obtained each time an enemy was defeated after meeting the obtain conditions.
• Fixed the issue where some time limited titles disappeared after logging out.
• [Tamer] Fixed the issue where certain parts of the appearance were awkward when wearing the Medeia Outfit.
• [Male Classes] Fixed the issue where certain parts of the outfit appeared awkward when wearing the New Year Hanbok Hat.
• [Witch, Kunoichi, Valkyrie] Fixed the issue where the default underwear was awkward when wearing the Crimson Flame Robe.
• [Guardian] Fixed the issue where the appearance was awkward when wearing only the Academia Armor.
• [Ranger] Fixed the issue where the appearance was awkward when wearing the Eternal Snow Armor with other shoes.
• [Shai] Fixed the issue where the appearance was awkward when wearing the Wonderland Armor with Poetica Shoes.
• Fixed the issue where the Guild Manor was not changed when the Manor's owner left or was kicked from guilds.
• Fixed the issue where the Increase Movement Speed effect was applied to the Epheria Carrack even when the Max Durability of the Loggia, Srulk, and Manos Sailing Log was below 100.
• Fixed the issue where certain NPCs in Heidel occasionally overlapped.
• Fixed the issue where attempting to use Find My Item in the Family Inventory using the Gamepad UI would switch to the Combat Equipment tab when searching for another item currently equipped by the character.
  
  • When attempting to use Bring Item for a currently equipped Pearl item, the Pearl Inventory opens, and the Life Inventory opens for Life items.
• Fixed the issue where the Occupying Guild's name was not displayed when hovering the mouse over an occupied node in the Node War Status on the right after entering a server with an ongoing Node War through Character Selection or Change Server.
• Fixed the issue where the UI was not displayed when a Special Barter occurred on an island without Barter.
• Fixed the issue where the Mount Key Guide for a Guild Member's Two-seater Mount was displayed as R instead of SHIFT + R in certain situations.
• Removed the phrase "The time you can stay per session is limited to 30 min." from the Golden Pig Cave Monster Zone Info.
• Fixed the issue where certain watchtowers in Hanji County disappeared when approached.
• Fixed the issue where text overflowed from the UI in the bottom of the Quests (O) window.
• Fixed the issue where portions of the Medeia Outfit's skirt appeared abnormal for the Optimization Mode setting.
• [Nova] Fixed the issue where wearing the Medeia Helmet made certain hair customizations appear abnormal.
• [Witch] Fixed the issue where equipping the Fallen God's Armor while wearing the Medeia Shoes made the foot portion appear abnormal
• Fixed the issue where some text would overflow when selecting goods in the Barter Information window while using the Gamepad UI.
• Fixed the issue where it was possible to subjugate different Black Shrine Bosses more than 5 times a week in certain situations.
  
  • When this issue occurs, any subjugation beyond 5 times are not included in the Boss Blitz Rankings, and no Boss Blitz rewards are given.
• Fixed the issue where the Satiated debuff was not applied when gaining Health EXP by using Well-brewed Mesima Tea.
